The funeral of MLC and former minister Blasius M D’Souza will be held at St Sebastian Church at Bendoor in city at 3.30 pm.  The cortege will leave his residence in Kankanady at 3 pm, a family member. informed Deccan Herald.

His body has been kept in the hospital and will be brought home today.

As the news of his death spread, a number of people and leaders visited his home. Prominent among them were former Chief Minister M Veerappa Moily, former minister B A Moideen, former MLA UT Khader, District Congress President B Ramanath Rai and former MP Vinay Kumar Sorake.
