Two persons were killed and several injured when a bus bound to Dharmasthala from Bangalore rammed against a tree near Mudremane in Gonibeedu police station limits in the wee hours of Saturday. According to police, the deceased has been identified as Harish Vittla (23) and a boy from Kolar district.
The injured are Nagaraj, Darshan, Vinay, Anil Kumar, Navin Kumar, Vijay Kumar and Devaraj.
Hamsa travels of Bangalore had organised the package trip to Dharmasthala in which 45 were travelling.
The mishap occurred when the driver lost the control and rammed against a tree. However driver has fled the spot. A case has been registered.
