The accused Sudhir Gandhi (40) a resident of S S Puram had sold a site measuring 67 x 44 located in 10th Cross, S S Puram for Rs 23 lakh using fake documents. This site originally belonged to late  K M Jagannath Shetty.

However, the GPA was given to T M Ramachandra Shetty residing in Hiriyur.

Moreover, the accused Sudhir, who was unemployed and without money owing to his habit of gambling, was interested in this site.

He had got the required documents from the TMC and the Sub-Registrar office. Moreover, by presenting an elderly man as K M Jagannath Shetty he got the site registered in his name.

Later he sold the site to Muniraju of Rangapura. Mr Muniraju had advertised in the newspapers seeking to know if there were any objections to the site purchased. Mr Ramachandra Shetty who had observed the advertisement had filed a complaint to the police.

Later, the Tumkur police arrested the accused and presented him before the Court.
