Awarded Doctorate

Part-time research scholar of Mangalore University Department of Bio-sciences Ms Shalini has been awarded PhD in Bio-sciences by the Mangalore University for her thesis titled ‘Studies on the Biological control of fruit rot of arecanut caused by Phytophythora Meadii’. She completed her work under the guidance of Professor of the department of Bio-sciences Dr M Rajashekar, informed a press release.

JCI president elected

Manjunath D has been elected as the President of JCI Mangalore. Jc Sheshagiri has been elected as the secretary, Jc Sanath Kumar as the treasurer, Jcrt Rekha Sheshagiri as the president of Women’s wing.

The newly appointed members were installed at Lions Seva Mandir Mallikatte recently. NMPT President P Tamilvanan was the chief guest of the installation programme .
