Come February 10 and Bangalore will witness Rock Ethos, a rock music festival. The event to be held in Palace Grounds will feature 15 local rock bands.
Rock Ethos is an event that aims not only at providing a platform to up-and-coming bands but also at promoting original music and anti-piracy.
Woodstock feel
The event that promises an Woodstock feel will feature the bands Bhoomi, Motherjane, Myndsnare, Kryptos, Threinody, Extinct Reflections, Inviktus, Spitfire, Illuminati, Galeej Gurus, Slain, Whitenoiz and Inner Sanctum. Each band will perform for over 45 minutes.
The events
The inauguration ceremony will include a parade in which the participating bands will take part. Pyrotechnics, paintball, gaming zones and a food court offering different cuisine, lounge and snack bars and coffee shops will also be put up as part of the event.
The passes to the event will be made available at coffee shops, malls and pubs. Road shows are planned to publicise the concert among college goers and corporate houses.
