HARBHAJAN SINGH HEARING:

AUSTRALIA CLINCH TEST SERIES 2-1
Sehwag rescues India with superb century
The drawn result meant that Australia retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy but the Indians proved worthy challengers to the world champions in a pulsating series which provided much drama both on and off the field.
India's Virender Sehwag raises his bat and helmet after making  150 runs against Australia at the Adelaide Oval.
Australia's captain Ricky Ponting (R) and Adam Gilchrist (L) pose with Border-Gavaskar trophy.

Sehwag, pitch denied us a win: Ponting
"Going into lunch we had a slim chance. But Sehwag being out there means the score kept ticking over. He kept the run-rate going," Ponting said. The host captain was also disappointed with the track, which had little to offer to the pacers.
KUMBLE'S TRIBUTE  TO ADAM GILCHRIST
"I was surprised, I didn't expect him to retire at this point of time. He probably changed the way we look at wicketkeepers. He was someone who could change the game in 45 minutes. His wicketkeeping was also brilliant. As a person he was very special and friendly. He looked to have chat off the field. He is a great role model for any cricketer," he said.
Dropping Laxman was the deciding moment, says Gilchrist
"When I dropped that Laxman edge off Lee, I realised that I hadn't moved as well, I was slow and after 10-15 minutes and I realised, that's it," said Gilchrist in his first press conference since announcing retirement.
Gilchrist decision shocks selectors
"It wasn't something we were expecting. We have spent a fair bit of time over the last year or so talking about where he is at and how much longer he was going to play and Adam had been very good at keeping us informed about what he was thinking," Hilditch said.
Gilly pioneered the keeper-batsman role: Sangakkara
''He set the benchmark quite early, quite high, and everyone else was playing catch-up. All sides had to improve because of that. ''I think all wicketkeeper-batsmen tried to follow him,'' he said.

    Wary Of The Bear Hug
After the recent crash, do ordinary investors need to be wary of the stock markets or invest judiciously to garner attractive returns?
Most of our readers agree that small investors looking for quick returns are sitting ducks for market manipulators. They suggested studying the markets before investing. Some readers felt that regulators like SEBI must provide suitable insurance cover in case of instances like the recent crash or curb the extent of speculation.
