He was speaking at the poet’s meet organised by Kannada Sahitya Vedike at its Office on Tank bund road.

Presiding over the meet he said ‘literary meet in every household’ which has been  organised continuously from past 10 years has become a model.

The honourary president of all the pro-Kannada organisations T N Muninarayanappa inaugurated the function.

Teacher and poet Mulluhalli Nanjunde Gowda entertained the people with his limericks.

Kagati Venkataratham, G Bhagirathi, Champalli Chandrashekhar, K S Nurulla, M Suresh, Kagati Venkatachalapathi, K V Varadachar, Oolavadi Muninarayanappa, H Anjanamma, Upparahalli Venkataramappa recited their poetry.
