The PU department has come out with a novel idea to reduce stress among students. The department has decided to provide 15 more minutes for students writing the exams.
PU Department Commissioner S G Hegde told reporters that the question paper would be distributed 15 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the examination.
“For example, if the exam begins at 9 am, then the question paper will be distributed at 8:45 am. This will give sufficient time for students to go through the questions carefully and also organise the answers” Mr Hegde said.
The answer booklets will be distributed five minutes before the commencement of the exam so that the students get time to fill up the required fields in the answer booklets such as register number, names etc. Students will then have the entire three-hour duration to answer the paper, Mr Hegde explained.
