Vidya Nidhi-Yakshgana Kalaranga of Udupi will be organising ‘Varna Ruchi,’ a three-day painting exhibition of landscapes by Vasanth Rao from February 1 at Vibhuthi Art Gallery Chitrakala Mandir.

Speaking at a news conference here on Monday, President of Yakhagana Kalaranga Murali Kadekar said that the proceeds of the exhibition will be contributed to the meritorious students of low income families from the district through Vidya Poshak, Dharwad and Vidya Nidhi, Udupi.

Artist Vasanth Kumar informed that the contributions will be a more transparent procedure as the donor is facilitated to know about the student who is benefited by him and vice versa. MPL Manipal Vice President (Marketing) R Nagendra Rao and Dr Y Siddhartha will be the chief guests at the exhibition. Renowned Artist N S Pattar will be the Guest of Honor.
