Chess basics stress on early development of pieces that is moving the pieces from their original squares as early as possible and also on castling early to ensure the safety of the King. However in certain positions it becomes difficult to develop pieces and also to castle.

In the game which follows, White castles on the queen side where as Black concentrates on launching an attack. Black does not take time off for castling and also is unable to develop his King side bishop early. In this particular instance it does not matter for White cannot get his attack going while Black breaks into enemy territory even as the Black King remains pretty safe in the middle of the board.
