The High Court on Wednesday admitted a PIL seeking to make Kannada paper mandatory for candidates aspiring the posts of FDAs and SDAs, recruitments by Karnataka Public Service Commission(KPSC). The Court also ordered emergent notices to State Government and KPSC on the petition.
A advocate and president of Kannada Rakshana Vakeelara Vedike, M K Vijaykumar, in his PIL had also sought to direct KPSC to remove the option of English. The next hearing was posted to February 5.
