Visitors to Bannerghatta National Park safari will now get to watch two tiger cubs which were born five months ago. Soorya and Amar are crossbreds from white tiger Tanu and Royal Bengal tiger Brandis.
Now, the park has 45 big cats. According to Park Executive Director K V Markandeya, the cubs were not released in the open as they needed special care.
At present, they are given 5 kg beef and 1 kg chicken,” he added.
Masti, a tiger which was at the Park’s animal rehabilitation centre, has been shifted to Born Free Foundation.
Masti’s injured leg had been amputated
