Sarvodaya Day was observed at various places in the City on Wednesday to mark the death anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and also in memory of those who laid down their lives in the freedom struggle.

Governor Rameshwar Thakur paid tributes by garlanding Gandhiji’s portrait at Vidhana Soudha.

A ‘Sadbhavana pada yatra’ was taken out from Gandhi Bhavan, in Kumarpark East to Mahatma Gandhi’s statue on Seshadri Road.
