MAAC, the academic wing of Maya Entertainment Limited (MEL), has announced the Annual Creative Rewards Scholarship 2008 to reward meritorious students desirous of building successful careers in the animation industry.
The scholarships are awarded annually to students (up to 100 per cent) based on a creativity test followed by an interview. The creativity test comprises of basic questions and exercises used to measure creative quotients internationally. This initiative by MAAC is yet another first by the academy to promote budding animation talent in India.
Announcing the creativity rewards scholarship, Ms Aruna Kumar, VP & Zonal Head - South said it is an effort to recognise and foster meritorious students and help meet the industry demands for trained animation manpower”.
The 'Creativity Rewards' Scholarships, 2007 reaffirms MAAC's position in the industry as a dedicated player with the welfare of its meritorious students as its top agenda. The scalability up to 100% also indicates the importance given to intrinsic aptitudes and potentials with a desire to nurture them fully.
