‘Tulunadina Muslimaru’ authored by Dr A Wahab Doddamane will be released by Administrative Reforms Commission Chairman M Veerappa Moily at Town Hall on January 3, informed Dr Wahab Doddamane.

Speaking at a press meet here on Tuesday, he said former minister B A Moideen will preside over the function.

The chief guests of the occasion will be Beary Cultural Forum (Dubai) President B K Yusuth, Beary Welfare Association President Janab B Ahmed Haji Moideen, DCC President Ramanath Rai, DK district Wakf Committee Chairman Y Mohammed Kunhi, DK district Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Beary Cultural Forum Vice-President M E Muluru, former MLA U T Khader and Congress Minority Cell President Moideen Bava.

The book which is a study of Muslims in Tulunadu from 7th century to 1947, is based on another book by the author ‘The Muslims in Dakshina Kannada’. The 250 page book which is in Kannada, lays emphasis on communal harmony, he added.
