Coin phones were installed in the Co-operative Transport Tourist buses for the convenience of the commuters. The facility was inaugurated by the Chittemakki Mallikarjuna Sports Club President Ravindra Patvardhan on Tuesday.

Addressing the gathering, Co-operative President B N Mahesh said that the transport co-operative society is probably the first society wherein the labourers are the owners.
He said that two buses of the co-operative society have been installed with the coin phones to mark the inaugural ceremony.

“The society has started several facilities to help the commuters but the installation of the coin booth is the first of its kind,” he added.  Society Vice-President G R Vishwanath, Director E S Dharmappa and others were present.
