In an incident that is sure to embarrass Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, two of his sons were beaten up on New Year’s eve for allegedly teasing some girls partying at a farm house. A personal security officer accompanying the duo, Tarun and Tejpal, lost his service pistol, in the ensuing scuffle.

Investigation revealed Yadav’s sons had allegedly indulged in eve-teasing at Ashoka hotel and at Connaught Place. The two then went party-hopping to Chhatarpur area on Delhi-Haryana border, accompanied by the PSOs.
On their return, they allegedly passed remarks at some girls. However this time, a group of youngsters jumped to the rescue of women, and thrashed up the brothers.

The PSOs, sensing the gravity of the situation, did not reveal the identity of the two, sources added.
Nursing bruises, Tarun and Tajpal were rushed to a hospital.

A case of assaulting a police official and of a missing weapon has been registered.
