Arjuna Ranatunga, the newly-appointed Sri Lanka Cricket chief, said he is keen on increasing the frequency of Tests against India and will take up the matter with BCCI. “I am going to hold a meeting with the CEO, SLC, Duleep Mendis and work out the possibility of regular matches with India.”
Inzamam-ul-Haq, the former Pakistan captain, said the PCB has no legal authority to ban players who has been playing in the ICL. “Have the players, including myself, who played in the ICL committed a crime? How can the board stop us from earning our livelihood?,” he said.
