Recruitment
 The BWSSB has issued a notification for recruitment to 650 posts - of which 150 are for engineers, including 111 assistant engineers. This was announced at a programme organised for the release of the diary, where retired BWSSB engineers were felicitated. Assistant Engineers Muralidhar, Shivaraju, Nagaraju, A Narayanaswamy, Assistant Executive Engineers V H Chakrapani, A M Ramegowd, Chikaberiah and Chief Engineer B R Nagendra were felicitated.

Workshop
  IIM Bangalore along with British Council is organising a two-day workshop on “Corporate social responsibility” from January 3.

Prof Jeremy Moon, Director, International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility, Nottingham University Business School and Mr Chris Gibson, Director, British Council, South India will attend the workshop to be held at IIMB campus.
