BRETT LEESPEAK
We were greatly relieved to dismiss Laxman and Dravid in the last hour before stumps.
Laxman has got this habit of scoring 100s at the SCG. When he gets going, he normally scores big hundreds.
Tendulkar is definitely in the top two or three.
He's a brilliant player, so I'll have to make sure we tie him up tomorrow.''
With a big stand tomorrow, we can put pressure on Aussies: Laxman
Vangipurappu Laxman and Rahul Dravid rekindled memories of their past heroics against Australia with an inspiring 175-run partnership on the second day at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Australian media supports India on umpiring shockers
In a hard-hitting column, 'Sydney Morning Herald' cricket writer Peter Roebuck said Steve Bucknor and Mark Benson spoilt what was a superb day of cricket. He wrote that Bucknor was past his prime and should have retired after the World Cup in West Indies.
Taufel should have stood in the series: Waugh
Blunders by West Indian Steve Bucknor and Englishman Mark Benson hit India hard on the first day of the second Test against Australia and Waugh felt the duo's mistakes showed that neutral umpires not always guarantee error-free matches.
