Bangalore Urban district deputy commissioner M A Sadiq on Thursday warned the officials incharge of preparation of electoral rolls that disciplinary action would be taken against them if they do not implement the responsibilities assigned to them. Reviewing the progress of preparation of electoral rolls of four assembly constituencies - Yalahanka, Uttarahalli, Anekal and Varthur, Mr Sadiq directed them to hold a house-to-house survey to remove anomalies in the voters’ list prepared in 2004.

He also urged the voters to approach the respective electoral registration officers of their constituency for adding names in the voters list or for deleting the names of the dead.
