Sanjaynagar police on Thursday arrested two women for allegedly trying to convert patients to another faith at MS Ramaiah Hospital.

Nirmala (40), a resident of Krishnappa Layout, and Narayanamma (56), a resident of Mathikere, were said to be distributing pamphlets and urging patients to convert to Christianity.

According to the police, they were arrested following a complaint from Mahendra Modi, whose sister-in-law Manjula, a patient, had been asked to convert to Christianity for her speedy recovery.
