Cricket Tourney
 The district level tennis ball cricket tournament will be held on January 5 and 6 at the Hebbur Government Higher primary school grounds. It will be held by Hoysala Cricket Association. The tournament will be inaugurated by the Hebbur Police station sub inspector K C Nagaraj. Grama Panchayat president H J Suresh will preside over it.

Office bearers
The nominations for the district level BJP office bearers have been announced. Advocate L Bytarange Gowda has been elected as the president according to the the press release. Nayaz Ahmed will take over as the president of the minorities morcha while Dastageer be the Chief secretary. Gopalkrishan, son of former MLA B Ganganna has quit Congress to join BJP.
