‘Kreedotsava’ in Kalladka
‘Kreedotsava’ of Sri Rama Vidya Kendra in Kalladka will be held on January 6 at Hanuman Nagar in Kalladka. Speaking to media persons in Mangalore on Thursday, school Secretary Dr Prabhakar Bhat said that former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa will preside over the programme. NICE Director Dr Ashok Kheni, Charisma Builders proprietor Sudheer Shetty and others are expected to participate. School Director Narayan Somayaji was also present on the occasion.

Satellite centre for YMC
Zilla Panchayat Member a C Bhandary will inaugurate the Satellite Centre of Yenepoya Medical College Hospital, Deralakatte, at 10.30 am on January 5 at Balepuni Gram Panchayat premises. YMC Director (Administration and Academics) Prof P C M Kunhi will preside. CEO Y Farhad, Bantwal Taluk Panchayat members Chandrahas Karkera and Ummer Fajir and Balepuni Gram Panchayat President Nayana G Manai will be the chief guests.

Wins national  talent quest
Sirsi, dhns: Tilak S Naik, a 6th standard student of St Antony’s English Medium Higher Primary School in Sirsi of Uttara Kannada district, has secured first rank in the national-level Mathematics Talent Quest Examination organised by IT Kids, children’s Techno group of Bangalore.

The prize includes a silver medal, Rs 1,000 and a certificate. Tilak is the son of Honnavar based advocate Surersh Naik and Sirsi Govt Boys Baala Mandira Superintendent Jayalakshmi Naik, informed a press release.
