Three pole dance sequences by Lindsay Lohan and something of a film to fill up the space between the raunchy gigs: ‘I Know Who Killed Me’ in a nutshell! And if severed fingers and blood baths are your thing, then hurrah, the film has ultimately found its target audience. Don’t miss the touch of “surreal” that the filmmaker has organised, hoping that it will take the attention off the blatant product placements.
There is a psycho killer on the loose. The kind that has a hand and foot fetish... amputating them, to be precise. His latest victim is Aubrey Fleming (Lohan), an intense prude with a flair for writing.
Aubrey disappears one fine day to be found again with an arm and leg missing. Only she insists that she is ‘Dakota Moss’, an exotic dancer/stripper from Salem. And that Aubrey is still captive!
Can the girl be believed? Or has she just flipped out from the trauma of spending weeks sans makeup?
The ending isn’t half as interesting as these options.
For a brief moment, ‘I Know Who Killed Me’ has you making a mental list of possible solutions to the big mystery.
The moment quickly passes, leaving you making a list of people you have to warn about the movie.
