Among the nine Cabinet rank ministers are old hands like Vaju Vala, Narottam Patel, Anandiben Patel, Ramanlal Vora and Mangubhai Patel.
Nitin Patel, Dilip Sanghani, Fakir Vaghela and Jaynarayan Vyas are the new faces in the Modi Cabinet. Patel, Vaghela and Vyas had been ministers in the BJP government headed by Keshubhai Patel.
The ministers of state were Amit Shah, Saurab Patel, Jaswantsinh Babhor, Purshottam Solanki, Maya Kodnani, Kirtisinh Rana, Parbat Patel, Jaysinh Chauhan and Vasan Ahir.
