Funds should be immediately released to some of the gram panchayats in the taluk which are awaiting money under housing loan scheme of Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation, urged BSP taluk spokesperson M A Salavuddin.
Sixty houses each have been sanctioned to each of the 29 gram panchayats in the taluks, but Gram Panchayats like Gonibeedu, Banakal and Baluru have not received money, he stated in a memorandum submitted to the Governor through the Tahsildar.
