SJIHS enter final
DH News Service,Bangalore:

St Joseph’s Indian High School stormed into the final of the under-17 cricket tournament for the Boost Cup with a 160-run win over Presidency School, Nandini Layout at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Monday.
SJIHS wasted little time in bringing an end to Presidency innings in the morning after the latter resumed from their overnight 124 for seven. U Vikas completed a five-wicket haul as Presidency were bundled out for 150 for an innings lead of 122 runs.
L Adarsh again played a cameo, 74 in 49 balls with four fours and five sixes, that helped SJIHS score 190 for five in the stipulated 30 overs. Ashish Dhar gave him firm support with an 87-ball 75.
Faced with an improbable target of scoring 312 runs in 30 overs for an outright win, Presidency could muster 152 for three, with SS Darshan and T Ashwin making unbeaten half-centuries.
In the final, they will face another Presidency School outfit. The RT Nagar team defeated St Joseph’s Boys’ High School by an innings and 39 runs at the NRA ground.
Brief scores:
