KPSC invites applications

The Karnataka Public Service Commission has invited applications for filling up 1,239 posts of assistant/first division assistants and 1,687 posts of junior assistants/second division assistants.
Applications can be obtained from KPSC Head Office, Bangalore and regional offices in Mysore, Belgaum and Gulbarga and also from post offices of district, taluk head quarters and selected post offices.
Educational qualification prescribed forassistants/first division assistants is a bachelor’s degree and for junior assistants/second division assistants it is SSLC or equivalent. Last date for submission of applications is January 18. For details visit: www.kpsc.kar.nic.in

KSTDC tour to North India

Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation will conduct a 30 day package tour to North India.
It includes visit to all ten jyothirlingas and begins from Saturday, 25 April, 2008 from Bangalore.
The tour itinerary includes Varanasi, Kashi, Kedarnath, Aurangabad, Ajanta, Ellora, Khajuraho, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun among other places .
Fare for the tour is Rs 29,950 per person and includes vegetarian food with separate family accommodation.
KSTDC will organise the tour in its 2 plus 2 luxury hi-tech coach.  A 20 percent concession on transport charges is available for tourists 65 years and above.
