Allied Computers International-Asia Ltd., a research based laptop manufacturing company listed on BSE, is all set to launch their first full featured laptop worth Rs 14,999 in the country soon. A fully ready prototype of the laptop was showcased for a feel and experience of the product.
Briefing reporters, Chairman & Managing Director Hirji Kantibhai Patel said the laptops will be introduced in the market by first quarter of 2008 and available across the country through company showrooms and tie-ups with supermarkets, malls and retail showroom franchisees.
The laptop will boast of processor which is VIA C7-M, 1.0 GHz ULV CPU, 512MB RAM, 40GB hard disk along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities. It will have 7-inch TFT screen.
