Lokesh, who was being treated for 60 per cent burns at the BGS Apollo Hospital, breathed his last at around 10 am on Tuesday. He had killed his wife Sudha at his quarters in Jyothinagar. A quarrel between the couple over taking care of Thayavva, Lokesh’s ailing mother, had culminated in the tragedy. Thayavva, who had also sustained injuries in her bid to rescue her son from flames, is being treated at the JSS Hospital. With this, Thejaswini (10), the couple’s daughter, is orphaned.
