Boy falls in toilet pit, dies
Mangalore, DH News Service:

A boy was killed when he accidentally fell into a toilet pit near the KSRTC depot, adjacent to A J Hospital here on Monday.

According to police,the deceased has been identified as Mohan (12). He was studying in eighth standard.

It is said that the boy was crossing the pit when the stone slab broke into two. A case has been registered.
Cyclist killed

A bicycle rider succumbed to the injuries he sustained when a bus knocked him down at Kaikamba Badagulipadi village in Mangalore on Sunday.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Purushothama (18). Rash and negligent driving is said to be the cause for the mishap.

Youth missing
A certain Mohammed Bilal aged about 24 years has been missing from Haridravathi village, Hosanagara taluk.
According to police, he left home for Udupi and did not return.

He is 5.3 feet tall, wheatish in colour and knows to speak Kannada, Tulu and Hindi.  He was wearing rose colour half shirt and jeans pant on the day he went on missing.  If traced, contact SP, Udupi (0820 – 2534777), CPI Udupi (0820 – 2520329), PSI, Udupi Town (0820 – 2520444) and Udupi control room (0820 - 2526444).  A certain Kishore (16), son of Harishchandra Gowda (16) has been missing for the past 13 days from Kalampalu in Rekhya village of Uppinangady.
