UK attack plotted in Bangalore?
DH News Service, Bangalore:
Day-by-day Bangalore connection to the failed terror plot in the Glasgow Airport seems to be getting murkier, raising further speculation whether the attack was planned here.

Giving further thrust to this claim, it has now come to knowledge that the chief terror architect Kafeel Ahmed worked as an aeronautical engineer between December 2005 to June 2006 in the City-based Infotech Enterprise, which designs aircraft components for aerospace giants such as Boeing and Airbus.
Kafeel who holds a master degree in aeronautical engineering worked as a design engineer in the outsourcing company in Bomanahalli on Hosur Road, spokesperson for Infotech Enterprise, K S Susindar told Deccan Herald from Hyderabad.
During his nine months of employment at the firm, Kafeel was said to be brilliant as he was during most of his academic career.
“We had recruited him after thoroughly verifying his background and academic record which showed that he was like any other employee who have been recruited by our company,“ said Mr Susindar.
Refusing to disclose which projects he was involved in during his brief tenure as a design engineer, company officials said that it could not be revealed as per the contractual guidelines with the company’s clients.
However, getting a first hand experience with various high-end projects pertaining to the sphere of aerospace engineering could have helped him in planning the attack better, said investigating agencies.
“The planned attack was on an airport and his being an aeronautical engineer would have come in handy while planning and executing the attack,” said police sources.
The company also said that they had never noticed anything suspicious while he worked at Infotech and that the company did not have any problem with his conduct.
Mr Susindar further stated that Kafeel resigned from the company voluntarily. “He was one among our 750-800 employees who used to work at the Bangalore office and he was like anybody else,” he said.
Infotech Enterprise, has six offices across the country and its clients apart from Boeing and Airbus include Bombardier and Pratt & Whitney.
