Triple murder accused gets bail
Bangalore, DH News Service:

The High Court on Tuesday granted bail to Kiran accused of killing three members of a family in Bangalore in September 2006. Justice V Jagannathan granted a conditional bail to Kiran while allowing his petition.

Advocate Pushpalatha (38), her husband Ravishankar (45) and mother Sharadamma (58) were hacked to death on the morning of September 15, 2006, in front of their house, off Nagarbhavi in Jnana Bharathi police station limits.

Kiran along with Kantharaju, said to be the neighbours of the victims, had allegedly attacked them with a chopper leading to instantaneous deaths.

A property dispute had led to  the murder, it is said.

Rejected
The High Court refused bail to Jagadish Kore who had allegedly attempted to murder Congress leader and KLE Society chairman Prabhakar Kore.

Jagadeesh, a nephew of Prabhakar Kore, had allegedly shot at the latter on October 19, 2006, at Ankli in Chikodi taluk, Beglaum district. Justice V Jagannathan rejected Jagadish’s bail petition.
