The Chief Secretary P B Mahishi has sought twenty days time to file his reply before the Karnataka Women’s Commission in connection with the complaint lodged by controversial IAS officer M N Vijayakumar’s wife J N Jayashree against him. The chairperson of Mahithi Hakku Jagruthi Vedike JSD Pani, Mahishi instead of appearing in person, sent the government advocate H Hanumantharayappa.  

The Women’s Commission did not agree to give 20 days time but looking into the busy schedule of the Chief Secretary, it agreed to give fifteen days time. 

Mahishi will now have to file his reply on July 26.
