Residential school to open on July 13
DH News Service,Bangalore:

Forest and Environment Minister C Chennigappa on Tuesday announced the opening of a free residential school for orphaned and destitute children at Byranakanahalli in Nelamangala Taluk on July 13.
Named after Sri Dr Shivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganga Mutt, the seven storey structure houses 136 classrooms, 250 fully equipped rooms to accommodate 500 school students and 100 rooms for college students, said Chennigappa.
Reddy flayed
Earlier, speaking to reporters, the minister said MLC Janardhan Reddy does not have the capability to donate money and buy over either former prime minister H D Deve Gowda’s family or Mr Chennigappa himself. Adding “We do not want to make money by selling soil of the State. God has provided adequately. The people of Bellary have started cursing Janardhan Reddy for injustice he has caused for them” Mr Chennigappa added.
