Shruti Sheth’s friendly face has become a familiar one thanks to her stint as a Channel [V ] VJ, and her prominent role in TV serials like Shararat, Kyon Hota Hai Pyaar and Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand.
Her latest do has been to host My Desi Top 20, a Bollywood music countdown show that features top 20 songs of the week, and is telecast every Tuesday, at 8:00 pm on Zoom.
A chat with the sprightly TV star who is going places with her recent appearances as the ‘heroine’s best friend’ in big budget movies:
Your experience acting with superstars like Aamir and Kajol in Fanaa, and Rani Mukherji in Tararumpum. How were you chosen for the role in both movies?
All the actors that I’ve worked with so far in Fanaa and Tararumpum have been very easy going and comfortable to work with. It is delightful to see them come alive in front of the camera.
