Control pollution levels

Need traffic signal
The traffic light near Peenya Circle has been non functional for some time now causing heavy traffic jam along Tumkur Road. This must be rectified immediately. A well maintained traffic signal light will go a long way in easing traffic and make travelling a lot more easier in the City. There would also be a sense of discipline instilled in road users.

Curb pollution
People honking causes a lot of noise pollution and proves an irritant to most road users. Continous honking causes an adverse effect on the health of road users. I hope the Pollution Control Board and government will take note of this and make amends to the present situation. Added to the confusion are musical horns and fancy horns, fit to the vehicles. They diminish the hearing power, raise the BP level and creating mental tension. The concerned departments can take serious action regarding this.

Continue service
At present one can travel to and from any part of the City to the HAL Airport by BMTC bus service on a pass costing just Rs 25. Will this be possible when the HAL Airport closes down and the new airport starts functioning at Devanahalli? I hope the BMTC authorities would ensure that such services are available to the people living in and around the new airport.
