The review meeting of Dakshina Kannada Regional Transport Authority (RTA) will be held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, who is also the chairman of the Authority, at 10.30 am on July 28, according to a release.
The first half an hour of the meeting is open for the public to submit their petitions regarding transport issues.
However, the applications for new licenses will not be entertained during the review meet.
Only the issues ordered by the court and variation subjects will be discussed in the meeting.
The last meeting itself has resolved that the topic of issuing new licenses will be taken up only after government issues an order in this connection as per the Central Motor Vehicles Act, Rule 68 (3) (CA).
The individuals concerned can personally participate in the meeting or through their advocates or other authorised persons, the release added.
