Diamond festival
To celebrate diamonds, Josco Jewellers is holding a diamond festival at their store where customers can get a whopping discount of Rs 2,000 on every carat of diamond purchase. They are also offering 100 per cent buy back facility on diamonds brought from them, states a release. There are four specifications for diamonds known as the ‘four Cs’ that authenticate the value of a diamond—cut, clarity, cart, and colour. Whenever a diamond is cut, facets are created and the stones finished from the determine. While referring to transparent diamonds, the colour scale runs from D to Z, beginning with Icy White—the colour, or lack thereof, of the most expensive diamonds—and ending with a light yellow. Although we often think of diamonds as being clear, there are also blue, red, black, pale green, pink and violet diamonds which are among the rarest varieties. The next time you go diamond shopping, you know what you’re picking or are at least ready to ask the right questions.
