The Mysore University appointments for the professors and readers which were under scanner recently for alleged violation of government order was approved by the Syndicate members at a meeting held today.

Speaking to Deccan Herald, B J Hosamath -- Registrar of Mysore University told that the syndicate committee which met on Thursday approved of the appointments since they were in line with the government order.

He said, “the appointments are very much done as per the government order issued on 6.2.95. Rooster system has been followed without any compromise. We explained this to the committee along with caste classifications made under different categories. And the members gave their approval.”
