Charges on road work baseless
DH News Service,Mulbagal:

Block Congress President G Ramalingareddy has said that he would resign from his post if anyone proves the misuse of development funds in Mulbagal-Tayalur road work.
At the same time, he also challenged Zilla Panchayat Member Shyamegowda who had made such allegation to retire if the charges were not proved.
Speaking to reporters, Reddy said the Gowda’s allegations against him were baseless. He said the Mulbagal-Tayalur road asphaltation work was on at cost of Rs 80 lakh under Union minister’s CRF scheme.
He said it was “shameless” that minister Alangur Srinivas was claiming the credit for the works implemented during former Assembly speaker M V Venkatappa’s term. The construction of Ambedkar Bhavan, KSRTC depot, guest house, SC/ST hostel and electricity sub-stations were started during Venkatappa’s term.
Former Town Municipality Member Anasooyamma Narayanachari said that the TMC had not issued title deeds to the poor under Ashraya Housing Scheme at Tyagaraja Colony.
Taluk Mahila Congress President Lakshmidevamma, TP V Ramappa, member Rajendragowda, former presidents M Venkataramanappa, Aruna Kumari, party leader G Nagaraj and PLD Bank President  M C Neelakantegowda were present.
