Diamond jewellery expo

An exhibition and sale of traditional diamond jewellery is on at Rugs & Riches on Residency Road, where kundan, meenakari and diamond jewellery designed and made by Jaipur jewellers are on display.

"Our family has been in this business here for the last seven generations, delivering variety and quality," said Chandu Surana of Rugs & Riches. Traditional jewellery has never been out of the market but after the exhibition of Nizam's collection three years ago, the demand for antique style has increased,” he said.

English speaking course

The Social Welfare Department has invited applications from SC unemployed youths for one-and-half year English speaking course.

Candidates from Bangalore urban district may send their applications before July 16, to the District Social Welfare Department Officer, Bangalore Urban District, Sampangiramanagar, Bangalore - 27.
