Sampoorn, a non-profit organisation that works for upliftment of rural artisans and weavers is hosting ‘The National Crafts Bazaar’, an exhibition cum sale.
The sale will feature cane and bamboo from Kerala, Pottery from Jaipur, Dokra from West Bengal, Marble from Uttar Pradesh, Tanjore art from Tamil Nadu, Mysore paintings and handloom products from all over the country.
Artisans, craftsmen, national and state award recipients and societies who are participating in the exhibition are representing interior and rural areas of the country and are conducting the sale directly without any middlemen or agency.
The sale is on at Hemachandra Sagar Kalyana Mandira, T Mariyappa Road, 2nd Block, Jayanagar (near Ashoka Pillar) till July 22 from 10 am to 9 pm.
