No evidence
A senior officer told Deccan Herald, “we have not taken anyone into custody in connection with the London terror act and the Bangalore angle attached to it. I don’t think we will be arresting any one in the near future also, as there is no substantial evidence against any individual. That does not mean we have given a go by to the sleeper cells theory.
“We are further probing their existence. It's a laborious process and a separate special team is likely to be set up in the days to come to curb terrorist activity”.
However, within a few days, various members and leaders of the community will be roped in for the task and a plan of action will be drawn to nominate counsellors, who can advise both parents and the children leaving Indian shores for further studies.
Police are perplexed about the innovative methods adopted by terrorist organisations. It is learnt that off late, e-mails are not being exchanged.Instead, the messages are being written and saved in the form of draft. e-mail IDs and passwords are sent.
The messages are opened, read and passed on to another in draft form.
This makes it more difficult for the police to identify and zero in on any individual as the messages don’t pass through the servers.
