Bangalore, DHNS:

With the arrest of 11 people, Cottonpet police cracked the HP call centre driver’s murder case on Monday. They also seized lethal weapons from them.

The murder plot was hatched at Parappana Agrahara Central Jail, it is learnt. Ravi, the driver, was hacked to death near Binny Mill on July 2. His brother, Prabhakar, was murdered in Hanumanthnagar police station limits in 2003 by Rama, Jayaram and their associates.

The 11 are: Renuka (20) of K P Agrahara, Santosh (20) of Cottonpet, Ramachandra (23) of Bapujinagar, Muni (23) of Anjanappa Garden, Vijaya (23) of Chamarajpet, and Ameer (20), Laki (27), Chinnappa (20) and Manjunath (18), all from Kengunte. Two more accused, Jayaram and Cycle Ravi, are absconding.
