No power supply

There will be no power supply on July 18 from 10 am to 5 pm in B Narayanapura village, Mahadevapura and surrounding areas.

Huts razed

Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagar Palike officials, on Monday, removed over 40 unauthorised huts that had come up in Kamakshipalya tank area in West zone.

Commissioner Dr S Subramanya noticed unauthorised huts while he was inspecting road works in the zone and instructed officials to remove them at the earliest.

The commissioner inspected progress of eight km road work between Okalipura junction and Sunkadakatte, Magadi road, Sanjayanagar main road and Bopasandra Road taken up under World Bank funded KMRP project.

President appointed
