Who is Housing Minister D T Jayakumar to speak about BJP leaders?
The question posed by Water Resources Minister K S Eshwarappa, when some opposition members wanted to know about Mr Jayakumar’s statement reported in  media that Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa had failed to discharge his duty as finance minister efficiently.
Mr Jayakumar had also claimed that Mr Yediyurappa is not fit to become the chief minister as some BJP leaders too are not favouring him for the post. Besides, stating that  he said some decisions taken by Mr Yediyurappa as finance minister were against democracy.
“How he (Jayakumar) is concerned about BJP or its leaders. There is proper coordination among BJP leaders,” clarified Minister Eshwarappa.
Takes exception
Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha member K B Shanappa (BJP) on Monday, took serious exception to Mr Jayakumar’s statement.
 In a statement issued in the city, Mr Shanappa said  JD(S) leaders should stop their ministers from making such statements to maintain good relationship between the coalition partners.
