Iskcon to hold heritage fest
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon), Bangalore is holding a heritage festival from July 20 to August 12.
The festival, which is open for students from LKG to 10th standard, will have 46 events, including drama, vedic quiz, rangoli, cookery, vocal music, painting, elocution, mono-acting and essay writing competitions.

Guruvandana for Dr Gavai
Aasare Loka, an organisation working towards helping the poor Kannada-medium school students, is organising a ‘Guruvandana’ programme to honour Dr Pandit Puttaraj Gavai on July 20 at Rama Mandir playground in Rajajinagar.
Dr Pandit Puttaraj Gavai is the recipient of Kanaka Purandara Nadoja Award and author of many books. The objective of the programme is to educate young minds on how people with disabilities can make a mark in society.
