The Mahatma Gandhi Road in Srinivaspura is among the among the most prominent roads in the city. But if one were to visit the place for the first time, it would be impossible to tell it apart from any other linking road in an underdeveloped part of the city.

Here is a guided tour of this road from hell. Your first impression of the road is that craters from the atmosphere have paid multiple visits to it.  

Potholes

Potholes  dot the scenario and dominate the horizon . Watch you step as you gingerly try to navigate these water bodies and slush pits, but don’t congratulate yourself too soon for having safely crossed one of these trenches, because they are never ending, at all.

You have another one waiting just a couple of steps ahead. If you do find ‘spaces’ that are free of pot holes, they are taken up by vehicles that are parked there.

In short, MG road in city is fit for everything except be used for transport!

Representatives

It is a usual practice among the public representatives to ensure that the main roads in the  places are well maintained, but it seems that they are least interested in its upkeep.

In fact the road sinking to  new levels deterioration every day.  One need not travel the length and breath of Srinivaspura to list out the civic problems faced by it.

You just have to take a walk down the MG road and will get a personal introduction to all that is unwell in the city.
